In this gallery are selected works from 2 photographers who work with CPP/AFI. The selected works reflect some of the diversity of style, content and method of the photographers who have been involved in CPP/AFI and its associated projects.
The work of Chamula photographer Juana López López - a selection from her series of constructed images using multiple photographs of animals - draws from the visual and material environment of San Cristobal and reveals a strong experimental creativity and interest in form, aesthetics and humor.
Antonia Gíron Intzin has selected works covering a range of themes that she has worked on through her photography, all centered around the people, traditions and beauty of her home town of Tenejapa - a Tzeltal community about an hour from San Cristobal de las Casas. Antonia works with black and white, color, film and digital photography and works displayed here span a period from 2004 to 2009.
