These are some testimonies of the changes in indigenous life when people go to live in a city.

Gabriela has four children, one is teacher of Physical Education, another has a degree in computer systems and two study at high school.

Ms. Isabella has only had a little time in town and this is why you see the lack of comfort in her home. Some of her kids do not study and got married very young. They are now working to support themselves.

Don Juan is married to an ethnic Tseltal. Day to day they try to educate their children and to prepare to have a better future.
